Lanchester LA11 1939

Post by sp250boy »

Guys,
Did the Lanchester LA11 ever have a mascot mounted on the radiator?

What is the Mascot for Lanchester Cars?

I have a chrome radiator cap with a hole in it so it would be good to mount a mascot. If I can't find a Lanchester one I will probably fit a nude lady as there a few on ebay at the moment..

Thanks
It is a Lanchester

Hi Steve, as far as I am aware , there was no “official” Lanchester mascot , I purchased my “British Bulldog” figure on EBay, the painted him as per pictures found on the internet .
I did purchase a lovely circa 1918 Swift mascot many years ago, but found when fitted to my Radiator Cap, the its Wings would foul the Bonnet, so worth remembering that ,when considering which mascot to purchase !
