Does this car take a Ballast coil or the standard? I can't tell by looking at the existing one. also is the rotor arm just the standard item?

It's a standard coil. definitely not fitted as standard with a ballast resistor so a normal 12 volt coil is what you want. The rotor arm is a DRB106C or equivalent, quite readily available but at greatly varying prices !
