Hi does anyone know the size and availability of the front shock absorber link arm bushes? Or of any substitute that would do the job?

Hello John,
I hadn't forgotten you asking me at the last committee meeting if I could look up your name on this and let you know, but I saw from this question that you must have found it. I thought there might have been some replies but in their absence, I wonder if these :

from David Beales might be the same size. From the LD10 website, the diameter of the pin in the shock absorber arm is 9/16" but the link rod inner diameter isn't given. I haven't had my own LD10 out yet and so I can't readily measure this but maybe someone else will know. I'll be able to find it in a week or so. It would then be a case of finding out from David Beales if the dimensions correspond.

When fitting, a fluid that makes the job much easier is Citroen LHM fluid for the hydropneumatic suspension. I'll fill you out a taste before Tuesday night and if you find some bushes that fit, it'll make the job easier. I have a press if you need the use of it but a decent vice and some sockets usually works ok.
