ENV Gearboxes

Post by A.N.Other »

I think the answer is no.
But were any pre war Daimlers, Lanchesters or BSA's fitted with the ENV four speed crash gearbox. If so do any service manuals exist that I could use for reference.
I confess (as a fully paid up member of the DLOC) that it is not for any of the club covered cars but an AC I am restoring and the information on ENV gearboxes is proving to be thin on the ground.
Colin,
I may be slow but I’m rough as well !

Not to my knowledge - but surely Brian Smith is your best bet - as he knows everything about everything about Daimers .....................

Hi, now I'm pretty sure that 4 speed manual gearbox's were an option on some models, but sofar, have never seeen or heard of one!
Perhaps, someone out there can enlighten us??

What's this Forum coming to? I can't spell Daimler, and Big Al can't spell Vodka.
