Ps. Dropped the new pistons and bearing into the machinist today, with any luck there might be some progress in the next few weeks.
This is what the computer spat out :)

Sonus,
I can email you a graph comparing std with various others i have measured. Would have to tidy the page up for another to understand it. If you'd like it let me know. One of mine ( the current in the car ) but not the more recent iteration is laid out by the thou lift /degrees.( about four pages of numbers) Much easier to read as a graph. Even going over the nose it is quite differing on the lift to the closing side. The usual method of setting up 10 degrees either side of full lift will have it installed incorrectly as the full lift is over 3+ degrees. This cam and the new one are set up on the 50 thou lift data. Of course if the head is not in tune with the cam it aint going to be up to expectations.

Finally getting a chance to get back to the forum.

Have moved back to Arizona so car and the engine I'm building are all here. I was going through my documents and came across the Isky cam that is in my engine.

Have not had the opportunity to run the engine again to trouble why the right carb is flowing twice the air that the left carb is. I have redone the linkages, re-bushed as needed and both butterfly plates appear closed. Need the weather to cool a bit as the garage is over 110 degrees F about 43 C!

A typo there on that sheet,--- the 50 thou lift will always be less duration than the advertised.

Yes indeed, Steve. I could not understand how with greater lift used as the measuring point, the overlap would be greater. It calls into question all the information given on the diagram ( and makes you wonder just what cam you are getting )

I have decided to go with Penta Motorsports camshaft. I believe they have them made by Bullet camshafts - http://www.bulletcams.com/
