Post by JT7196 »

Good evening you O’rible lot, just wondered if any of you are planning to attend this wonderful event?
I shall be there all thing being equal, on Friday 7th & Sat 8th , in my beloved 1937 Lanchester Eleven, and
hopefully in period costume no less, along with Jason & Harrison, my partners son and Grandson .

Cheers Big Very Bad A’l

Hi chaps, had a lovely couple of days at the Goodwood Revival, so many lovely cars to enjoy, and so much superb racing to be seen.
The Lanchester performed superbly, even on the motorways , although I was at first a bit worried that I would get in the way of the fast moving traffic, as turned out , my fears were completely unfounded, although I would really have been better equipped with a couple of exterior mirrors !!
Total mileage for the two days was around 300 miles, I then tootled of to Lyme Regis on the Sunday and added anther 50 miles on the clock .

All in all , a truly great weekend , and hopefully one to be repeated next year .

Cheers A'l

It's on ITV4 at the moment! 8pm - 9pm. Let's see a photo of you in revival costume. :D

3 Mk 1 Jag saloons leading, but no V8 Daimlers.

Brilliant! I recognise the Daimler beer wagon behind you.

It's on ITV4 again at the moment - pedal car racing. Most look like Hillman Minxes. Old motorbikes and fashions at the start of the programme.
