N.E.C. Classic Car Show.

Post by Stan Thomas »

Top marks to Graham Emmett for organising yet another successful Stand at this year's Classic Car Show, showing The Club in spendid form at what is after all the the premier event in the calendar, and also to the two Belgian lads who gave up a week to bring over their replica Lanchester armoured car.

Well done Graham!

Well done Graham!
...and thanks to the Empress of Korea for loaning her superb 1914 Daimler! [Edit, I've just discovered that it's not her's but it's almost identical. NEC top, Empress of Korea bottom]

You said it Stan, what a great display and what a friendly welcome from the members running the DLOC stand and the SP250 stand.

First time I have been and it was tough going getting around but well worth the effort.

DLOC did us proud. Syd

P.S. Not sure that MDF would have stopped many bullets :D

Hello,

Adding to the above comments - an excellent display with superb ambassadors, which truly did the Daimler and Lanchester Owners' Club proud; well done to all those who staffed the stand throughout the weekend.

It was also very good to catch-up with Marcel Renshaw and Matthew Waterhouse who were very helpful with my enquiries.

Regards.

Richard.

Oh yes, it was amazing. Beautiful exhibits were presented. It is a pity that not all people can afford the car that he wants
