Petrol Tank

Post by sp250boy »

Trying to fit the fuel pipe union to the fuel tank.

Is there a pacer between the union and the fuel tank, as the the longest copper pipes bottoms on the bottom of the tank?

This is the union that is secured to the tank and provides the fuel to the carbs..

I guess that I must be missing a pacer!!!

Thanks in advance

Hi Mike, managed to take a photo, after removing Rear Seat and about half a ton of gear ! It certainly does not look as if there is or indeed ever was as Spacer under the Pick Up unit, so I can only think that someone has extended the pick up pipe, of course you will have checked to ensure the bottom of the Tank has not been deformed ??? Yes of course you have ! ! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
Here's as best I can do for a piccy of the Unit in question.
