Just watching a film on Talking Pictures 'Date with Disaster' and about 1 hr in there is a shot in a car sales yard.In the corner there is a DB18? with the reg HXM 111 oh and it was priced up at 499 ( film was 1957)

Could make this a ongoing thread should any other cars pop up

What does 'fastback' mean/look like?

Apologies for the vague description. All mt books are in loft ATM waiting fro the bookshelves to be refitted. By fastback i mean a 'flat' rear that slopes from roof to bumper with no visible boot. IIRC these bodies had split rear window.
You only get a glimpse of it as it goes out of shot

Another gem On BBC scotland ( you can get it on catch up for a week or so) there is a series called
Scotlands Home Movies

About 14 min in on episode one there is a lovely Limousine GS1000 being walked in to the estate by the workers

I must get my books back out to get more info!
