Hi
Thanks everyone I have ordered them from Barry and Colin will fit them whem I have run the car for 500mls and then have an oil change etc.
If Margaret recovers enough I hope to bring it to Peebles and see if it will get over the Scottish Jinx that we have had over the last view years.
W should know in the next month.
Thanks again
Regards

Colin

Around 15 years ago I had a pair of polished stainless tees made by 'Stainless Exhaust Specialist' prior to the 4:2:1 stainless exhaust manifolds that he made for me, which have since been used by others. They may still be able to make them - the tees are still going strong of course, and I changed all the straight hoses, by then over 10 years in situ, during the engine rebuild in 2011/13. The manifolds are still going strong also.

The heater works superbly now, for the first time since I bought the car in 1981, because I fitted a new matrix as well.

No complaints.

Just like to record my thanks to Arthur who was a splendid fellow and produced an excellent kit which I am sure will last on my car for as long as it is around.

He wanted to make a model of the Simmonds Daimler but sadly that never happened.

I have Barry's silicone ones and find them very good.
But.... there is often talk of missing out the inlet manifold heater all together, thus not using the tees at all.
Some say with modern fuels you don't need it heated anyway.

It is a good idea to always carry a Pickford Pipe in case of a Rubber Tee joint failure.
[This is a short length of hose enabling you to bi-pass the whole heating system].
