First time

Post by pekkak »

Gentlemen,
I am more than happy to announce that my wife and me have driven some 100 km with our 1954 DJ251. This was on last 1st of May. Restauration took about 31 years.
I wish you all beautiful spring/summer with yours Daimlers!
Pekka

I wonder how many Daimlers there are in Finland?
The DLOC has no members there. A few in Norway, a dozen in Sweden, a few in Denmark.

Thanks for the invitation Graham,

I think maybe 5 Conquests, 3 Centuries, 1 Drop Head Coupé and 1 Ex Swedish Royal Straight Eight, 1939.

I would be a returning member. However it might take a while. I'll do it after I have recovered from our 1st of May.

Anyway it has been looking more like November here abt for a week now. But I am wondering why there is more light than normally in our garden. It must be the local supermarket Christmas lights. Amazing how early they start the Christmas season nowdays. Right?

Mickey, did you resolve your "only firing on five" problem with your Consort in the end?
