It's good to see a Daimler being used at the coronation of the new King of Thailand.
DE27 or DE36?

It's a DE36. If I recall it has air conditioning and an alternator rather than a dynamo.
King of Thailand coronation
Did any eagle eyed members spot the Daimler used for his coronation that was covered by ITV news at ten the other day? I managed a quick snapshot of it. As you can see, the dog was impressed!
Any suggestions?

Re: Thailand King's Daimler
I don't think I've ever seen such good pictures of a DE36. Possibly the best condition extant?
Fascinating to see the car in action and a few glimpses of the interior.
Also fascinating to see the Thai way of life including the 'no-slamming-shut-of-the-doors' policy at 3 minutes +
More like this if you search Thai, Daimler DE36, motorcade etc
Re: Thailand King's Daimler
I'd like to know how it was modified. 100 degrees F and driving slowly with air conditioning for the King.
I hope it had two electric fans and refrigerated coolant!

That Daimler has been in his family for a long time already. I remember that when our king visited Thailand many years ago, it was used for his visit too.

How about the next International DLOC Rally in Thailand?

Not sure I'd want to spend so much time on my knees!
Do you think they get shot if they slam the doors?

Re: Thailand King's Daimler
Very nice Daimler, and commendable care to the car doors, well done lads.
When I first saw this, I thought that the car was attended by midgets, until they got up off their knees.
Why were they on their knees? Had the King dropped a banknote?
