Regency Mk11 1955

Post by dtaylo30 »

I have just started work on my Regency and would like to know how many still exist.
Is anyone able to provide the answer?

Graham Emmet will be able to tell you how many are known to the DLOC.
There may be some club members who haven't updated the club as to their ownership.
Some may be known to the DEC
Others will be owned by people who don't join clubs.
The Regency chassis and engine was also used in Hooper bodied Daimler Empress's

Hi David
I only reliably know how many that have been declared to the club through the Member Update (I hope you've done yours?!). We do have records of many more in the Archive but we don't know if they still exist.
One issue with the information from members is the inconsistency and I'm working on a scheme to sort that but this is what we have:
Empress.JPG
Graham Emmett ¦ DLOC Chairman ¦ chair@dloc.co.uk ¦ 07967 109160
Northwich, Cheshire
DB18 1949 LCV522 (Yes that one with the P100s)

Do the numbers for Regency cars mean just the saloons or does this include the coach built ones like the Empresses?

Regency Saloons only.
Empress and Sportsman are listed extra.

Thanks CDemler.
Are those 26 all runners?
I would love know that and how original they are.

I have one in average condition - missing the door trims - everything else intact...

I'll see if I can get some pictures posted over the weekend.

Cheers,

Nigel

Looking forward to seeing your photos Nigel.
Does your car have tool boxes in the boot as attached picture?

That should include mine (PXR 531) as I have filled in the form and returned it.
