H & H auction

Post by simonp »

What appeared to be a very nice Daimler Light 20 went for £8200 yesterday which I thought was cheap. No reserve. Also a V8 250 for £18,000 which was over estimate.

Another lovely Daimler that went under the hammer, at the same auction, which sold for just over £16K was a 1949 DB18 Drophead Coupe.

The original estimate on this car was £18000 -£22000 - this was only dropped to £16000-£18000 a few days before the sale. Whatever a good price despite its poor headlining! Please see thread om main V8/250/SP250 forum.

Happy to say that the new owner has joined the club.

Sounds good. Has the lucky owner of the Daimler 20 also joined?

Not yet Simon although we are picking up momentum now people can join online.
As a club we need to focus on recruiting more owners.
