I think PVC is more susceptible to shrinkage and stiffening due to winter temperatures, which can be a torment trying to erect a cold hood on a cold day. Double Duck is very good with wet conditions and Mohair has a curtain air of quality.
I chose Double Duck and was happy with it’s all round efficiency and ease of care.
I think what is more important than the material though, is to have it well made and well fitted. A poor hood makes any car look crap.
Colin,
I may be slow but I’m rough as well !
