Hankering after that Turner V8 again, Nick?

Hello Gordon,

It does look nice, and I'd like a manual.

Glad to hear the SP is ok, have you needed to do much?

Nick

Hello,

Middle of last year and early 2019 there was an identical vehicle with the same spec that was the subject of a scam. The vehicle was advertised via various online sites not just auction sites - the advertising was generally in the north of the country.

One tell tale sign was that the colour (sable) had different shading on the doors and very noticeable - this was not due to lighting conditions !!

After doing the rounds, the vehicle suddenly disappeared. It is likely the vehicle existed but was never intended to be the subject of a sale; leaving the "purchaser" out of pocket.

Under no circumstances am I saying there is a connection with the car posted above, but I flag this because the timing and similarity is something to be aware of.

Oh yes, the price is identical to that of the scam.

Regards.

Looking on google streetview KGF appear to be a real bricks and mortar location.

They appear to have the unit at the extreme right here but how do they fit all the cars they have on sale in there?

KGF are above board I believe. They've been going some time.

Hello,

Just looking at the eBay ads for V8-250's and the like for sale and guess what - the sable coloured V8-250 I mentioned about three weeks ago has risen again !!

It's on eBay 233358737115 - I've not placed a link on here, so you will need to pop the number in the search box.

Same photo and same discolouration on the doors etc, current asking price £1 with no info - it's a scam.

If you look at the sellers other items they are in the main all vehicles and all starting at a quid.

Oddly enough the sable coloured 1969 V8-250 saloon that started this thread rolling is still up for sale !! How odd, bearing in mind how highly sought after the MOD's are and allegedly this vehicle is in tip-top condition.

Coincidence, perhaps !! When things look to good to be true, they invariably are.

Regards.
