LD10 needs a caring owner

Post by Sid »

I have owned a 1951 LD10 since September 2017. Since then I've partly recommissioned it
to the point where it's roadworthy, but definitely not in perfect or near perfect
condition. Due to unforseen personal circumstances I have lost the will to finish it, and
have had it advertised on some free internet sites since January or February this year.
Unfortunately all I've managed to attract is time wasters, tyre kickers and a multitude
of stupid questions. One person on Facebook wanted to know what kind of door handles it
had!
I have advertised it at several different prices, currently at £4k, and am at the point
where I just want rid of it. I don't think, despite what I paid for the car plus what
I've spent on it, that it will achieve that much. So what I was hoping was, if anyone in
the community would like it, at whatever price they think is fitting and agreeable to me,
would like to contact me so I can describe it in full, warts and all.
This way I think it would get the attention it deserves. Just to make it clear, this is
not a bad car, just unfinished and unloved.
So if anyone would like to PM me for my address, e-mail and/or phone number I will give
you an exact description of its current condition.
Thank you
Sid

This i fairly sure made nearly £8500 about 2017 was in Bury St Edmunds when sold still has the tartan seat cover, this was the highest at the time apart from a Abbot.

This never got a bid

LHU655 made £5100-00 a drop from when bought from Bury St Edmunds a drop of 40%, just show's how bad some are, but was sold at £3300-00 about 2012 when it had been restored 2002.
One report said body off rebuild another said bare metal respray but look's to have kept well, one lucky owner sold his this year for the same money he gave for it 2018 but others will sadly not.

Back again, the usual wasters. Ebay is full of these clowns. This is a lovely car, if I had spaced I'd buy it. If the owner reads this, you have my sympathy, you and the car deserve better.
