Conquest Boot Hinge

Post by Pendle »

Does anyone have a spare left boot hinge (or a pair of hinges) for a Conquest saloon?

Hi all,

Bear in mind there are two types of Conquest (and Century) hinges. MK1 has 6 mounting holes and Mk2 has four mounting holes and is shorter. The DJ252 is different again, 4 mounting holes but slightly shorter still to accommodate the hood.

I have a pair of 6 hole hinges, if that helps.

Of course, why would they be the same, why have a standard type when you can have 3 or 4 variants?

Cylinder head gasket for the DB18? Do you want the 21 stud or the 14 stud version?

No wonder they lost money.

Thank you. I did find a pair of hinges and they are on their way. The hinge needed is for a DJ252 and the ones I found were with a DJ252. I was not aware of any differences, but I may have made a lucky acquisition.

That’s good news, glad you have sorted it. I have quite a few conquest parts that I got from a friend.
