or the remains of a Major...
Peter Cook of Manningtree in Essex tells me his father would like to see the project he abandoned some time ago go to a good home.
It's a Majestic Major, no body or interior but all chassis running gear and engne.

Re: Major Remains
Oh to be clever enough to splice a Special Sports body on to a Majestic Major chassis!
Vroom vroom.
Now that would be the ideal combination!

Re: Major Remains
Better still the similar but larger body already mounted on the larger chassis, of which very few were made.
The unique equivalent Empress MkIIa body transplant has already been done of course, and is currently in Switzerland.

Re: Major Remains
Rumour has it that the DQ450 and the Regency had the same wheelbase so there wouldn't be any need to shorten or extend the chassis to make the Empress MK2/3 body fit. However, would it be better to fit a DQ engine into a Regency chassis or change the chassis altogether? Probably the latter because it would have disc brakes all round. Unless the Regency chassis could be retrofitted.........
