A rebody or a de-roof? Looks to me like a failed wedding conversion.
At any rate, unfinished it is said these thirty years.
Well at least it's been properly stored and looks to be all/mostly there, and if that paintwork is thirty years old it must have been well done to have lasted.
Out of idle curiosity I had a look at the original listing. The bodywork from front to bulkhead is Daimler 15. The cut down doors also seem to be from a 15. The rear end bodywork looks most "un-Daimler like". The engine and instrumentation are Daimler 15.
It's a fascinating mix: the seats appear to be from V8 2.5 saloon, the headlights look too modern, the fuel filler cap seems to be about a foot from the ground.
Pity about the lack of suitable roof, fixed or folding, I imagine it would be difficult to fettle a convertible hood from another car.
Having said all that, I quite like it! It would be a fun project for the right person.

The seats were originally green as seen in photos. The other seats are 2.5 V8 but the spring frame looks like original rear cushion.
