Front suspension rebuild

Post by peterbee »

I am in the process of rebuilding my front suspension and have found that the bush (20-54) in the lower wishbone U bracket passes through the bracket and projects about 1/32 inch. Is this correct?

The workshop manual, Fig M9 front suspension indicates this could possibly be the case.the bush will push back against Item 47 allowing the nut to face flush onto the bracket with no protusion of the bush through the bracket.
