Dart SP250 Steering Wheels

Post by Alan Hill » Thu Sep 13, 2018 7:01 pm

Dart SP250 Steering wheels requiring renovation; one has a rim and one doesn't.
The bakelite rim is cracked as can be seen in the photo but it feels solid.
There are two horn pushes but only one indicator control and the indicator support casing has some damage. Please study the photographs for what is included in this sale and the general condition.

Not being altogether certain of values (I have a number of parts for sale) and wanting to ensure a reasonable number of people view the sale, I thought I would offer the wheels on the following basis:-
1) I will set the Sale date as 1200hrs on Saturday 22nd September.
2) If you wish to make an offer, please send a Private message via the Website or a Text to 077-6044-1562.
3) I will publish the latest offer (assuming I get any) as I receive it.
4) I will sell to the highest Bidder, subject to the Bid meeting the Reserve value.
5) The reserve in this case will be £50.00.
6) Postage will be additional and at cost, subject to Bidders requirements.
If this proposed method of selling is out-with any Forum Protocol or presents any other problem, please let me know.
Thanks,
Alan

Not wishing to upset your sale but if I wanted a good wheel I would go to the various suppliers and fitters of steering conversions to R & P. In most cases, the old wheel is discarded for a Motolita or otherwise. My supplier was Autotec so don't know what happened to mine which was in decent shape. Autotec no longer in business but Robert Grinter has done a few conversions as has Bryan Purves.
