Unusual cars at Salisbury Racecourse

Post by John-B »

I saw some unusual cars at the Wilts & Dorset Car Show at Salisbury Racecourse yesterday.
There was a Dillon Dellow (red FJN 60), a Ford A type (brown LSU 908) and an Essex (American, blue, MY 3892 about 1930 with wooden spoke wheels).
There were several hundred classic cars at the show there of all types but no Daimlers, Lanchesters or BSAs except my Dart.

If the first car in your list is the 'Dillon' it is actually a Dellow. Built by Ken Delingpole and Ron Lowe

OK, that's my bad eyesight - the badge was hard to read - or my bad memory, probably both. :o
