Have you tried Barry Thorne. I had a cover from him (without the Daimler badge since I already had one) and it was definitely aluminium....

Re: window washer

What you have appears correct. The 'ball' of the unit is trapped between the chromed cover and a backing plate (which you may have but is not shown in your picture). A rubber gasket goes under this assembly before screwing it to the body. The actual knurled jet body is screwed into the ball unit and...

Re: lower suspension brackets on SP250

bushing223.jpg The blue piece is what i am referring to . does it go to the front? the rear? They are used to set the Castor angle I believe.......... The spigot washer is used to compress the rubber/steel bush in the suspension arm - it has nothing to do with setting the Castor angle. Its fitment ...

Re: lower suspension brackets on SP250

The 'shim' you're referring to is the spigoted thrust washer; item E in the diagram shown in my previous post. Re: SP250 heater/demister

Does the heater flap inside the car close properly? The blower will send either air to the demist vents if the flap is closed or air to both the demist vents and the car interior if it's open. For max demist power the flap should be closed. The heater matrix has felt seals at its corners where it fi...

A large proportion of posts are asking for advice and usually provoke a response. It would be helpful to the re...
