Great! Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try them.

Worse case, I'll try and get the linkages remade or something next year after I investigate the problem more.

Need to finish my Marcos first at the moment, so the Lanchester is going to have to wait for now. :?

I stand corrected, my Lord :lol: I did the simple checks. The odd thing it is only 3 to 2 that the GEAR CHANGE PEDAL (heh) does not come up on. It is like it gets stuck and it is in neutral. I push it all the way down and up and it still seems to get stuck half way. Then change the gear to something...

Bending or shaping wood is best done with patience, steam and something to hold it in shape :)

Not done it that often though and has always been a pain. Good luck.

Any decent trimmer should be able to do the door cards

You should be able to use the existing backing as a template for a new backing

My LA14 is now fully restored up and working. Just got to sort out the paperwork for getting it road legal and then she's good to go. Still not sure if I will be using her or putting her in storage. No shows this year and the roads around me are mostly country/farm tracks so not good for a classic c...
