Getting near the end of the rebuild but I still need a petrol tank. The one I got with the car was rotten through, somebody was making me one using the old one as a template, but both now have appeared to have disappeared? After a very helpful conversation with Clive Hawkins I now realise that the gearbox is for a later car, so I am not missing a link I have the wrong box fitted. Fortunately I have a spare gearbox which is of the correct type.
