Surely, a straight line is a circle with a radius of zero?
Kind regards

^ IIRC a circle with a radius of zero is one definition of a mathematical singularity

I seem to recall reading that a straight line is a segment of a circle of infinite radius.

Also, it is the shortest locus of all points between two separate points.

How can such a simple concept be so difficult to explain?!
Best wishes, Dave B

Why can North Koreans draw the best straight lines?

Because they have a supreme ruler.

Being used to live and think in a 3-dimensional world, the proper mindset to get a grasp of the intimate details of a one-dimensional line is not easy to obtain. As an in-between, it may help if you study this literature first: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flatland

Does a straight line have an end or does it continue beyond the points on that line?
