As well as being a Sherman tank commander who fought in the Battle of the Reichswald Feb/March 1945, here is one of Murray Walker's unforgettable claims to fame that, if you're old enough, you won't get out of your head for a while once you've clicked on this link - no it's not a typo

As there's no F1 or Top Gear thread, I thought I'd mention here that there's a 30 minute tribute to Sabine Schmitz on BBC1 at 7:30 pm (probably available on iPlayer afterwards)

If you know who she was then like me you'll want to watch it, if you don't know who she was, then you'll have to watch it.
