I only stumbled onto this post this morning whilst thinking about my own thread following my trip to
Tasmania in April.

Not only did I discover this great little museum in Launceston but also discovered by chance another SP250 in the car park at Coles Bay on the east coast of Tasmania. A NSW registered car. Any folk from Oz recognize it?

The SP in the Launceston museum is owned by one of our local Daimler club members who is currently resident O/S. Have no idea about the NSW SP at Coles Bay but I was there with my SP in March. They'll be sick of them!

Cheers

Fred, did you get the number plate of the NSW registered car by chance?

From the photo, it could be either the Luongo's, the Pitts, or the Walkom car.

The blue one at the Launceston Motor Museum is Daryl Gruar's car and has been housed there for some time. Daryl was a member of the old forum, however I do not think he is on this new one.

Brooksy ,
I did take a shot from the rear which shows the number plate but never like posting photos on forum of cars with number plates depicted.
PM sent.

Thank you Fred, not sure if you got my PM reply..

The car belongs to the Luongo's on the Central Coast of NSW, it is a very eary car, and has the scollops under the door handles, was previously owned by Di young in Victoria.
