A good turnout of classic cars at the Nostalgia show, and one of our members came in costume. :o

MGC with Rover engine. It's very non-standard and I like it. The body colour is very dark green, superb, and the front end and general body shape is all different. It reminds me slightly of the SP252.

Hello John, just a minor point re the MG in the first set of pictures, it does in fact appear to be a standard (unless modified by the owner) MGR V8, of which 1983 were built between 1992 and 1995 (see https://www.mgownersclub.co.uk/mg-guides/rv8 ), I am not sure if they all had MGR registrations/number plates but I have seen other ones that have as well, and the common colour is the green as in your photograph. They are certainly nice looking cars, and with the Rover V8 I expect nice to drive.

Ok, I'm not familiar with the MGR, I should have realised that the MGR reg plate meant something.
