Help with the impossible

Post by RHALL »

Hi All

First time post and hope it’s in the right place and this is allowed.

I am looking for help in tracing a 1955 Daimler Conquest Century. It belonged to my friend and he sold it back in the 80s . I would love to trace it and see if it is for sale in whatever condition or find out if it’s been scrapped.

I’ve looked on DVLA which says it’s not been taxed since 1986 (which it wouldn’t be now under the exemption but in 86 it would only have been 31 years old) . The V5 was submitted to DVLA in 2005 , so I assume this was when it was last sold .
Does anyone have any idea how I move forward or if this is neigh on impossible ?

He would love to regain it, he bought a Rolls Royce two years ago which is lovely but he still goes misty eyed recounting the Daimler !

Thanks for any help. Apologies if I’m wasting your time reading

Hello,

If you could post or email me the registration number, I will have a look through the club records and see if there is a trace of it.
