Thanks Henry. Interesting sale. Body looks not too bad, except for the boot, which maybe dropped ??

But, needs correct front bumper, number plate plinth, and 4 over-riders, and rear number plate box.

Interior a mess !!

Having done the long hours on The Duke a restoration not for the faint hearted.

Anyone feel brave ?

The answer is someone is brave 🤪

Sold for £6100 !

That was a surprise for me, but positive for other sellers like Ian.

Let’s see if the new owners come on the Forum, as help will be needed.

The really interesting thing is that there were no bids until the last day when four bidders slugged it out.
The first bidder bid £6,000 followed by another dozen or so bids, then there were two bids after the first bidders limit was reached, so I think we can assume there are three more potential serious buyers out there looking for a similar car at a similar price. Syd

Syd,
Looking at that Lanchester 14 listing there may have only been one serious bidder on the Empress!
Hope it went to a good and caring home, they are such delightful cars.
Cheers PG
