Lanchester Armored Car replica.

Lanchester Armored Car replica.

Some people build small scale models, others build full scale models but fewer build full scale working replica's

This Lanchester armored car replica was built in 2017 for the centennial of WWI in Belgium.

It was an extreme building project that has taken a gigantic amount of hours to build

• Fully driveable

• Weight 2 tons

• Complete overhauled Daimler 15 2100cc engine

• Wilson pre-selector gearbox

• Original wheels with new tires (895x135)

This is a museum quality replica that was made according to plans and data found in the Belgian Army archives.

The interior was made like an original armored car of those days, with place for 4 persons. The turret works completely and comes inclusive with a replica maxim machinegun.

8mm thick aluminium was used to build the armor plating, this brings the weight down (2t instead of 4t) making this vehicle is transportable with a car trailer.

Price 17.000£ or good offer
