Completely deranged if they refused £1500. I've spent some daft money on DB18 spares but not that daft.

I bought a 1930's 15 some years ago which had been given a period number. The previous owner had sold the 2+4 original number but there is no way the car would have passed an MOT test. Interested to know how he got the transfer done I checked the car had a current MOT which it did have.

So in this case someone dishonest enough who has the nerve can get a transferable number worth a few thousand and a load of spares £3,600, no doubt that is what this dealer is angling for. Still far too dear for me at half the price.
