I was going to title this "LD10 plug cover for sale with free LD10" but thought that anyone unfamiliar with the price of LD10 bakelite covers might not see the funny side. Am I just that bit put out that it has a plug cover and a........ heater ! Well, just a little !

I take it the mechanical starter solenoid has given up the ghost, I wonder if they've just rewired the existing starter with an electric solenoid or if they found an alternative starter that fitted too? Might have been interesting to know. With the spares, it seems a good starting point for someone. During the summer we restored the front seats on our car which were both slightly better than the condition of the driver's seat on this car but heading in the same general direction. I suspect the passenger seat on this one has done its turn on the driver's side, a bit more of a challenge but there's all these lockdown hours to fill....

I hope it finds a good home, they're really quite a nice little thing compared with a lot of the 50s cars.

Simon , had seen the advert on ebay but did not see the plug lead cover what a find yes they are like rocking horse ? , but looking again is that a indicator switch on the steering column i can see.
Think i will decline bidding as I have a plug cover plus a damaged one , it is not only us LD10 owners that find it hard to find a cover as other models have made silly money.
