FOR SALE 1933 Lanchester LA10

£11,000 ovno

The previous owner was a club member so some of you may know the car.

Stunning car, had full restoration in 2003 for a private collection and was purchased from there by the last owner in 2018, still presents very well today.

Genuine 48,500 miles and original registration number, 4 owner car from new.

This old girl runs and drives well as a 1933 car would.

Pre select fluid drive gearbox, if you have not driven one before like me only takes a few miles to get the hang of it.

The car is presented in very good condition, the interior is simply stunning all new in 2003, headliner, all new leather, wood re polished, new carpet etc, lots of nice Art Deco features, has sliding sunroof.

There is a box file full of history, original owners and service books, old tax discs, some photo's of restoration and lots more.

There is a complete spare gearbox for the car included but condition is unknown.

Ideal car for film / TV work, the car has appeared in Poirot Series episode 3.11, would make good wedding car loads of room in back.

Bad bits, not much.
Headlight dip switch not working, head lights are on low beam.
The combined fuel / temp gauge on dash not working but the temp gauge on top of the rad cowl works fine and stays on normal no over heating problems.
The brakes are ok and stop the car but could do with just a bit of final adjustment.
The car has fully restored and working semaphore indicators but nobody really looks for those these days so could be a good idea to fit some modern indicators on it as well.
That's all I can think of.

Car is located in Ottershaw, Surrey, 5 mins from J11/M25.
