I use disposable nitrile gloves for all car work and any gardening but unfortunately don’t last very long. Any recommendations for ones that still give plenty of feel but don’t tear so quickly.
Thanks Paul

Re: Nitrile gloves
Hello Paul,
I have used Latex and Nitrile gloves over the years, I find both last okay within the reason until you snag them then the game is over.
At the moment it is a case of getting what is available, although ECP tend to keep their stock topped-up.
Regards.
Richard.

Re: Nitrile gloves
Try the black nitrile ones made by Site available from Screwfix. I find they last well.

Re: Nitrile gloves
I had this problem some weeks ago. I bought some on the internet and some of the "c**p" that is available is as much use as a tissue. I asked another facebook page what they used and some recommended Wurth. They are the orange ones.
The days of boxes being available for £5.25 plus VAT from the local motor factors seem to have gone. Don't use any that are made by "Sonic", they are dreadful.
Essentially what the motor mechanic needs is something very rugged yet flexible. Perhaps there is a market for a budding businessman/woman.....

I gave up on latex gloves after seeing Richard's recommendation in this thread http://forum.dloc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=34618#p34618
This is what I bought https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153949125840 compared with the way original swarfega used to dry out one's hands, swarfega orange is absolutely incredible - no more messing about with gloves, the only time I put gloves on, is thick cloth ones to protect my hands from accidentally cutting them in dodgy places under the bonnet.
