fitting boot hinges
Any one fitted boot hinges,,the 4 studs are impossible to fit..

looking at the hinge it looks like there is a shadow of where the washers were so could it be that the bolts are fitted from the back of the mount and then washers and nuts are fitted to the hinge?

Well I managed to refit the hinges, the problem was getting the studs started, the twin springs leave a tight space to get your fingers in.. Luckily I have long fingers. Getting my two middle fingers behind the spring and balancing the stud by the head, I must have dropped the studs hundreds of times. Tenacity and perseverance got the job done, and the help of a thin ring spanner once the studs got a bite..
