Today my wife and I celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. To help celebrate the occasion our loving daughter baked a cake. The decoration reflects the characteristics of her parents she most readily brings to mind...

The dog is an example of the eleven Irish Setters we've owned to date, her mother is shown knitting and I am in classic pose under a car. Considering the limitations of cake making, she's made a pretty fair representation of the SP250.

Not quite a double celebration though - we've only owned the SP for 47 years.....

My partner {Kathryn} who is a semi-professional Bakester / Pastry Chef, says the cake is an excellent example of your daughter's skill.

Sadly for me, Kathryn took the accountancy route !!

Thank you Richard. My daughter is pretty adept at coming up with a cake to celebrate almost any occasion.

She actually works for a Charity dedicated to saving the world and I justify my having a garage full of five gas guzzlers by pointing out that since I can only drive one at a time, I'm effectively taking four of them off the road. She did agree that I am at least recycling since they're all very second-hand....
