Just checked the Lanchester 14 parts books TC120 shows a bevel gear and TC107 shows many options all with the wrong part number and all have higher part numbers suggesting that the gear is earlier.
My thoughts are that it is pre 1933.

Hi, The LA10 used 7/38.. However per TC69 and 87, the Part No. is 259090. How about the BSA 10? Regards, Ranald

According to TC 93 the B series BSA10 had a bevel gear.

Hi Chaps, I have a N/O/S Worm and Wheel in my storage facility, I’ll have go and search it out and check those No’s .
