Conquest Century rear red lens.
Re: Conquest Century rear red lens.
Somewhere in this forum or on the old forum I think there was a cross reference to other cars that used the same rear lights. I know that one was shared only with an Armstrong Siddeley but I forget which that was - on either side!
Re: Conquest Century rear red lens.
The rear lights on the Conquest range changed at various times. Originally glass (L464) but later ones were plastic (L571). I think reflectors were added on via a extra bracket at some time as well as the glass lens didn't include them.
I'm not sure what variants were used on the DJ252, but the plastic variant L571 had a reflex reflector incorporated. I presume you are looking for a L464 rather than a L264?

Seeing that picture, I'm sure it is the L571 that is also fitted to the Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire.

Re: Conquest Century rear red lens.
The L571 is rare, I spoke to the Armstrong Sidderley club last year about them as there was a rumour that they had re tooled the lights and were having them made.
It turned out to be just a rumour.
Their spares man told me that he was constantly trying to buy them just to keep their club supplied.
The main problem with the L571 is the heat from the bulbs discolours them and they need nail varnish to make them red again.
LED bulbs will reduce the long term damage caused by the heat. Red LED bulbs is also an option.

Re: Conquest Century rear red lens.
Surely the long list of makes is the glass ones.
As far as I am aware L571 was only used on 2 makes.
