Gear Change Pedal removal

Post by sp250boy »

Gent's
I have a gear change pedal that I want to replace. Before I can remove the pedal I need to remove the collet which is secured by a roll pin and grub screw. Has any body got any tips on how to remove the roll pin as the chassis is in the way. I can't get a good swing with a hammer to drive out the roll pin :(

Its a 1939 Lanchester

Hi Steve, the easiest way to get to that Roll Pin, is to remove the Floor, which in itself is quite easy .

Cheers Al
