Briggs-bodied LD10 - boot badge

Post by mikemillen »

The "Lanchester" badge on the boot-opening handle of my Briggs-bodied LD10 is all chrome, with the lettering just machined into the metal.

I suspect that the letters were originally painted black, but I can't find any pictures that show it clearly enough.

Can anyone confirm or otherwise how the badge originally looked?

Thanks, Darren... just as I thought.
I shall repaint mine black... doesn't look too difficult
