DE36 Allweather on Wedding Dutiy

Post by Peter Grant »

Hi Everyone,

Last week end I was asked to drive the bride and her father to a wedding locally.

As they then embarked on a mammoth photo session at a nearby home I was able to go home for a few hours before returning to collet the bride and groom for the trip to the wedding reception.

For the bride it was a closed car and for the bride and groom, the top down.

Makes for an interesting contrast

I think that the Hooper designers really succeeded in creating a very fine profile open or closed.

Cheers

How nice to see one actually being used on the road. It's such a rare occurrence here in Blighty.

Hi Graham,
No, I learnt my lesson taking it to Dubbo. Ended up going home on a tilt tray when the vibration damper fell apart (again). While we have reglued it using a more flexible glue I would hate to end up on the back of a truck yet again!
One of our other members Victor Nash has asked to share driving so more than likely I will be travelling in Victor's fine Silver Spirit.
Cheers
Peter

Very good. Almost as classy but just a little bit vulgar :D

Yes, Osmond Rivers was supreme!

Hooper designs, rather like Daimler mostly, are far too little appreciated.

Thank you for the photos Peter, I'm green again and its not algae; should I ever win the UK Euromillions Lottery, you will receive an offer that you cannot refuse. that's why I keep taking part.

Cheers

Geoff
