Not sure if of any interest, but in the Brightwells Auction starting 9/12 there is a V8 saloon - https://www.brightwellslive.com/lot/details/550675 Guide prcie is £11-13k, has an MOT and supposedley only 30k or so miles, looks to have a few bubbles popping through but maybe that is common? or not major. Is quite a nice gold colour.

The car has a MOT until November 2022 albeit there are numerous advisories, which gives the impression the car is heading for some long overdue work; purely as a result of neglect and or limited use.

The MOT mileage was 30,242 in 2006 with the car going off the radar for 6yrs when it was MOT'd in 2013; mileage 30,262.

Fast forward 2021 and the mileage is 30,646.

I think it is fair to say that this car has just been hanging around with negligible movement other than for MOT prepping and testing. A plus point is that none of the previous MOT's have mentioned structural issues / corrosion in the advisories, ditto this year, which if taken at face value has to be of some merit.

As mentioned there is some minor surface rust bubbles here and there; those would need to be examined more closely. I note the boot is missing trim panels and there seems an odd fuel pump arrangement - certainly not an OE system. And of course the good old clear-ish plastic fuel pipes in the engine bay (!!) which will certainly need changing asap.

Xmas is not a great time to sell cars, especially at auction - hence a buyer could prove the winner, provided that any Reserve placed is met.

From the photos, I have seen worse for more money.

I have recently become aware of a V8 Saloon in south Bucks, that is from a deceased estate and a family member is trying to sell. I do not know any more at this time, but will get some details if you are still looking.
